The Department of Education Procedures for SRE state that families are to be given information about SRE at enrollment. 

However, sometimes schools fail to communicate SRE options to parents and carers or the Online Enrolment System has not been updated or a new SRE program has just commenced in the school. 

When communicating to parents and carers of students already enrolled, the Christian SRE enrolment cards for existing students can be a useful tool.
